Based on the results of expert voting, the “Art, Science and Sport” Charity Foundation became the winner in the “Support of Classical Art” category.

Ekaterina Ermolenko, PR-head of the Foundation, said, “Alisher Usmanov pays great attention to the support of culture in Russia, including classical music. The Charity Foundation, among its other activities, supports musical educational institutions and talented children from different regions of Russia. In collaboration with such outstanding music performers as Valeriy Gergiyev, Vladimir Spivakov, Denis Matsuyev, Yuriy Bashmet and many others, a lot of projects were implemented with the main common objective to preserve and continue those centuries-old traditions of the Russian classical music style formed by efforts put into it by many generations of talented people.”

The “BraVo” award became a new cultural tradition as a large-scale event establishing Russia’s status as the centre of the Eurasian cultural environment. As was noted in the greeting of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, received by the participants and guests of the first “BraVo” ceremony held in March 2018, the Award “will take a worthy place in the calendar of significant events in the international cultural and social life.”
