The Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation took part in the program of the World Economic Forum in Davos
Alexander Stuglev, Director of the Roscongress Foundation, noted that the problems of the planet cannot be solved separately, and friendly dialogue and global partnership should contribute to the world harmonization.
Maria Krasnikova, Director of the Art, Science and Sport Foundation, speaking in a panel session of the forum, focused on public policy and non-state solutions to the problem of deinstitutionalization of orphans.
Thus, according to Maria Krasnikova, “Combining the resources of non-profit organizations and the state in solving the problem of orphanhood in Russia gives a synergistic effect: over the past 10 years, Russia has achieved qualitative success. New technologies play a great role in achieving sustainable social effect: electronic data banks are emerging, new digital platforms are opening up, giving a wide range of opportunities in online education.”
An important part of the Russian charitable agenda of the forum was the exhibition of photo stories about philanthropy “OBJECTive Charity”, organized jointly by the Roscongress Foundation and the Donors Forum with the support of the Art, Science and Sport Foundation. The exhibition is organized with the aim of stimulating foundations and companies not only to talk about their own work, but also to show it — brightly, lively, interestingly.
For the Donors Forum, cooperation with the Roscongress Foundation and the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation is an opportunity to increase the representation of socially responsible companies at major federal events, to include experts from the philanthropic and donor community in setting the state’s agenda and developing strategic decisions, as well as to provide authorities and society with the possibilities and potential of business to solve humanitarian challenges.
