Russian Investment Forum 2019

From February 13 to February 15 2019, the “Art, Science and Sport” Foundation traditionally took part not only in the program of the Social Investment Laboratory (NPO LAB), but also in the RIF Business Program.

The audience of the Russian Investment Forum is growing and gathers more and more interested people every year. This year, more than 8,000 delegates from more than 65 countries took part in the Forum.

The main topic for 2019 was “National Projects: from Strategy to Action”. As part of the business program, more than 70 events were held, which, according to Dmitry Kozak, the chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Forum, ensured the discussion of “the entire range of national projects, from support of industry to social issues”.

The “Art, Science and Sport” Foundation represented by the Deputy Director Fatima Muhomedzhan took part in the discussion “Save and Increase: Implementation of the Cultural Project” as part of the new social agenda of the RIF 2019 program. Leonid Parfenov, a journalist and TV presenter, acted as a moderator.

The session was participated by Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky and General Director of the State Tretyakov Gallery Zelfira Tregulova. They discussed the issues of implementation of the national project “Culture”. The emphasis was made on the need to create a diverse infrastructure in the whole territory of the country that would meet the needs of modern society, introduce new technologies and new forms of organization of cultural spaces into the activities of cultural institutions, widely promote cultural initiatives and implement innovative projects.

In order to realize this cultural transformation, it is necessary not only to attract various sources of financing, which is particularly difficult at the regional level, but also to develop a dialogue between the representatives of the cultural community, state, business and charitable organizations for developing effective solutions. To achieve the planned results of the national project, it is important not only to extend this experience to whole Russia, but also to create conditions for the development of traditions of charity and patronage in the cultural environment.

In addition, Fatima Mukhomedjan spoke as an expert at the panel session entitled “The Art of Influence: Investments in Social Communication as Factor of Sustainable Changes in Society”. This discussion was part of the program of activities of the social platform of the “Roscongress” Foundation, whose mission is to promote the social agenda and build a dialogue between the state, business, NPOs and the expert community in order to discuss effective solutions to social problems.
