On September 27, 2015, with the support of the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation, the Igor Moiseyev State Academic Ensemble of Popular Dance performed at the World Universal Exposition (EXPO) 2015 in Milan.

The concert took place in the San Carlo open-air theatre as a part of the Days of Russian Culture and was the culmination of a great festival called “Viva Russia”.

Its renowned dancers staged “Classical programme of Igor Moiseyev”, performing the most famous works of Igor Moiseyev, which became world classics: the Russian dance Summer, Kalmyk dance, Suite Moldovan dance, Dance of Bessarabian Gypsies, Sicilian Tarantella, Yablochko and others.

“There is always a complete, mutual understanding with the audience”, said Elena Scherbakova, the Artistic director of the ensemble, “Igor Moiseyev’s choreography speaks in plain language with all the people of the planet — the language of beauty, peace and kindness. And to feel it no one needs any annotations or translators.”
