Kinotavrik Festival

On November 2-9, 2013, the 13th “Kinotavrik” International Children’s Arts and Sports Festival took place in Sochi. In 2013, the Festival gathered more than a thousand representatives from the various regions of Russia, the CIS and other countries. The ages of participants ranged from 6 to 17 years.

The Festival participants are young talents and creative teams, as well as children without parental care, from children’s homes and residential schools. The Festival programme includes competitions in singing, dance, theatre, filmmaking, and design.

The Kinotavrik Festival in Sochi was supported by the administration of the City of Sochi, the Governor of Krasnodar Krai, Alexander Tkachev, and the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation.
