Children’s football tournament "Generation-2018"

On 13 and 14 January 2015, a children’s football tournament was held in the St. Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex. The competition was attended by children from St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region’s children’s homes, students from regular schools in the nation’s northern capital, as well as the city’s Youth Sports School Teams.

The tournament was the first event of the “Generation-2018” project set up by the Organizing Committee for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia with the support of the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation. The project aims to promote the World Cup, the values of football and a healthy lifestyle among supporters in Russia.

Russian Ice Hockey Legends for the Children of Stary Oskol Charity Event

On 21 and 22 November 2014, a charity event dedicated to World Children’s Day, called “Russian Ice Hockey Legends for the Children of Stary Oskol” was held in Stary Oskol, in the Belgorod region with the motto “Together to Golden Olympus”. It was made possible due to the the support of the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation, the Russian Union of Athletes and the “Heroes of the Fatherland” Veterans Committee.

Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation has supported House of Russia activities during the FIFA World Cup 2014

For a month from June 12 to July 13, during the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil, with support from the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation, the House of Russia — Casa da Russia — was opened. It has become a central venue of hospitality for Russian and foreign football fans and, most importantly, a unique platform to promote the image of our country ahead of the World Cup 2018, which the Russian Federation will host for the first time in its history.
