Dance ensemble “Podsnezhnik” wins the Grand Prix at Danube Rainbow Festival

The Artistic Ensemble of Classical Dance “Podsnezhnik”, directed by Tatiana Shcherbakova, won the Grand Prix at the Danube Rainbow Festival, which was held from April 26 to May 7, 2013, in the largest cities of Hungary, Slovakia and Austria.

Two of Podsnezhnik’s solo-dancers — Yulia Dudinkova and Elena Krasilnikova also won prizes in the Classical Choreography category of the Danube Rainbow Grand Prix.

The Danube Rainbow Festival is held by the Festival Committee “City Life” (International Programme). Since 1993, the Festival Committee has held international festivals of Russian art abroad, which every year bring together more than 5,000 artists from Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and other CIS countries and Europe.
