Project “Summer of Fun”

28 June 2013

As part of its Assistance Programme for Children’s Social Services Institutions, the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation started the “Summer of Fun” project.

The project is aimed at providing children from the Foundation’s sponsored social care institutions with adequate recreation during summer holidays. Roller blades, bicycles, scooters, table tennis, hoops, skipping ropes, crayons, swings, camping equipment, board games, colouring books, puzzles, constructors and other equipment and toys for summer holidays were donated to children’s homes and residential schools in different regions around Russia.

According to the tutors and care-takers, it’s very important for children to spend as much time as possible outdoors. Thanks to the project “Summer of Fun”, they will be able to organise healthy and beneficial leisure activities.

Several children from the supported institutions were sponsored by the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation to spend their summer holidays in children’s summer camps.
