29 November 2013

On 27 November, 2013, in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow: the Igor Moiseyev Ballet School and Studio celebrated its 70th anniversary with a grand gala concert, featuring performances across all age groups mentored by the Moiseyev Ballet from today’s Dance School to some of its brilliant alumni.

The event was sponsored by the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation, a long-standing partner of the Igor Moiseyev Ballet.

In 2006, the Foundation sponsored the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Igor Moiseyev. In 2012 the Foundation supported a concert dedicated to the 75th jubilee of the Ballet. The Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation also sponsored the Ballet’s tours. For example, in February 2014 the Ballet is planning a tour to Sochi — the dance group’s concerts will be a part of the cultural events around the Olympics.
