The Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation organised a summer camp for the pupils of children’s social service institutions that took place from 29 June to 12 July 2016, within the framework of the project, “A Future with Confidence.”
On 29 December 2015, the students and teachers of the Moscow International Film School with the support of Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation, arranged a series of festive New Year events for the pupils of social care institutions in the city of Kadnikov, the Vologda region.
A large-scale 2015 information campaign, organised by the So-edinenie Deaf-blind Support Fund with the assistance of the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation, has had its results summarized. The aim of the project was to raise public awareness of deafblindness and promote citizen participation in the first census of deaf-blind people.
On December 4, 2015, a large children’s party was held at the Crystal Ice Arena in the city of Gubkin. As part of the children’s traditional Christmas entertainment programme, the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation brought The Nutcracker, an ice show, to the Belgorod Region.
A unique medical facility at Kursk Residential School No. 2 welcomed its first visitors on November 3, 2015. The school became the first educational institution in the Kursk region to specialise in psychological, educational, medical and social assistance to children with musculoskeletal disorders with such advanced equipment. The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of Kursk region, Alexander Mikhailov and Deputy Health Minister, Tatyana Yakovleva.
On 2, October 2015, a children’s show was put on by the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation at Zheleznogorsk School for Children with Special Educational Needs, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the school’s opening.
On December 25-26, 2014, the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation wished the pupils of сhildren’s social care institutions in the Kursk region a very happy New Year and Christmas. A team of performers arranged children’s parties at the Verkhniy Lyubazh Residential School, the Novoandrosovo Children’s Home, the Oktyabrskaya Special-Care Residential School in Lachinovо and Kursk Residential School No. 2. The programme of activities included a series of entertaining contests, a show with giant soap bubbles, experiments with liquid nitrogen and a tasty festive treat — a chocolate fountain for dipping fruit.
Оn November 13, 2014 Orenburg Residential School for Blind and Visually Impaired Children No. 2 hosted a children’s show arranged by Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the school.
The Art Science and Sport Charity Foundation implemented the “Getting ready for September 1st” project in August 2014, sending knapsacks, orthopedic backpacks and writing materials to first-graders at residential schools across the Kursk, Voronezh and Orel regions under the framework of the Assistance Program for Children’s Social Services Institutions.

This summer 2014, the newly renovated garage/sports complex was opened in Mytischi Children’s Home and Music School. It was reconstructed and equipped with the support of the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation.
In June-July 2014, sporting events were held in children’s homes and residential foster schools across the regions of Belgorod, Voronezh and Kursk. They were organized by the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation as a part of the „Summer of Fun” project.
On June 1, 2014, the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation organized a festive concert dedicated to International Children’s Day for the young residents of Zheleznogorsk, where Russian pop stars, Nyusha and Yegor KReeD performed, and actor of theatre and film, Andrei Gaydulyan filled the role of master of ceremonies.
On April 30, 2014, the pupils of Mytischi Children’s Home and Music School took part in an adventure game organised by the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation as part of the recurring project “Summer of Fun”.
On 5th of April 2014, the day before the official premier, the Sovremennik theatre in Moscow put on a special performance of its new play Cinderella on its main stage. The performance was specially for children’s homes and residential schools in Moscow and the surrounding region.
At the request of the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation and with the Charity’s support, unique touch-screen tables have been developed and installed at the Lipetsk Residential School for Blind and Visually Impaired Children, the Lyudinovo Special-Care Residential School (Kaluga Region) and the Novoandrosovo Children’s Home (Kursk Region).
On 17 December 2013, the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation organised a New Year’s concert and party in the village of Lachinovo in the Kursk Region for the pupils at Oktyabrskaya Special-Care Residential School.
On 13 December 2013, at the Lyudinovo Residential School for Orphaned Children with Special Educational Needs, the Creative Studio “Ya” put on a New Year’s play called “New Year’s Shine”. The celebration was held in the new concert hall of the school, recently renovated with support of the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation. The production was an interpretation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, Rumpelstiltskin. After the play, all the children received New Year presents from the Foundation.
New Year’s festivities for orphans of the Kursk Region, held on 8 December 2013, were organised by the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation. They took place at the Yubileyniy Ice Rink in the town of Zheleznogorsk.
The Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation sponsored the complete renovation of the Oktyabrskaya Residential School for orphans with disabilities in the Kastorensky District of the Kursk Region. This was the first large-scale renovation at the Residential school in the 44 years of its work.
On November 12, 2013, the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation and the editorial staff of the children’s magazine, “Murzilka”, organized an art master-class for the children of Kolychevo Residential School.
On September 2, 2013, the new facilities at the Lipetsk Residential School for the Blind and Visually Impaired Children were unveiled — a sports complex and a renovated canteen. The construction of a new building and reconstruction of the existing one was made possible thanks to the support of the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation.
On August 29, 2013, the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation organised a training seminar for psychologists from the sponsored children’s homes and special care residential schools in the Kursk Region. The specialists were trained in innovative new methods in psychodiagnostics and psychotherapy. The seminar was attended by psychologists and educators of the Novoandrosovo Children’s Home, Verkhniy Lyubazh Residential School, Kursk Residential School No. 2, Ivanovo Residential School and Zheleznogorsk School for Children with Special Educational Needs.
On 29 March 2013, the Novotroitsk Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children opened its freshly refurbished swimming pool. Thanks to the support of the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation a new electrolift for disabled children was installed at the pool-side.
The Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation provided the support to purchase new logopaedic equipment for the speech therapy department of the Novotroitsk Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children.
The Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation launched an extensive program of activities planned for 2013. In January 2013, the Foundation helped to organise a series of theatre performances for children’s homes in the Kursk Region.
Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation responded to an application of the Novotroitsk Residential School for Children with Special Educational Needs (Orenburg Region) and offered support for significant improvements to the School’s infrastructure.
On June 12, 2011 the nationwide charity campaign “Under the flag of Kindness” organised a football match between the teams “Politicians and Pop Stars” (“Rosich-StarCo”) and “Team KVN” made up of the comedians from the famous “Club of the Funny and Inventive” Russian comedy show. After the game, the celebrated participants — Russian politicians, musicians and entertainers, presented 40 certificates for costly medical treatments to young spectators, who were at the Moscow Locomotive stadium to watch the game with their parents. The amount of targeted assistance distributed after the match came to 10,810,000 roubles.
The Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation sent New Year’s presents to the 73 pupils of Mytischi Children’s Home and Music School. Each pupil wrote a letter to Santa Claus, and all their wishes were made to come true on New Year’s Eve!
The 2009 public recognition award, Family of Russia, was supported by the Art, Science and Sport Charity Foundation. The award ceremony took place on June 27, at the Peter Hall in the Grand Kremlin Palace, a clear emphasis on the significance the Russian government attaches to family. This year, 14 families from across Russia were recognised for their extraordinary achievements in areas of social significance and public benefit. For some of them, the award ceremony coincided with their first, unforgettable visit to Russia’s vibrant metropolitan capital Moscow.
